09:00am Pick up from your hotel towards Pachacamac. Located in the valley of Lurín, this is a sacred place because in ancient times, people rendered worship to the most important god of the coast, Pachacamac. We wil visit among other places, the Acllawasi or house of the chosen women and the Temple of the Sun. Both places were built during the Inca era. This place is very important for archaeology and history because other cultures such as Wari, Lima and Ychma took place here. At the end of our visit, we will enter the museum and see some ceramics, textiles and other pieces found during the excavations.
Free time to buy souvenirs and buy a snack.
At the end of your visit to Pachacamac, we will return to Lima and spend some time visiting the Costa Verde beach circuit and the traditional and bohemian district of Barranco where we will visit the Main Square, churches, the Bridge of Sights and the Walk to the Baths.
01:00pm: Lunch in a typical restaurant in Lima. Choices of creole and seafood dishes.
02:00pm: In Miraflores, we will be able to see part of the pre-hispanic era of Lima visiting the Huaca Pucllana built in mud known for having been one of the ceremonial centers of Lima culture. The modern area of this tour includes the visit to Kennedy Park or recently called “the Cat’s Park” for the many cats seen in this park. You will also see the Malecon Cisneros and the Love Park, favorite place for couples where you can feel a romantic and relaxing atmosphere with an exclusive view to the sea. Final visit to Larcomar, one of the biggest and most exclusive malls in Lima located in front of the ocean where you could spend a perfect lunch or dinner in a typical restaurant.
In San Isidro, we will pass by the financial center of the district and El Olivar Park, declared national monument in December 1959 and famous for being the only park with olive trees in the city. It is a great lung for the heavy polluted city.
03:30pm: In Cercado de Lima, we will visit Lima’s Main Square, the Cathedral which has a Renaissance style façade and various chapels such as the Sagrada Familia and La Inmaculada Concepción. In addition, around the square we can see the Government Palace, the Municipal Palace, the Archbishop's Palace and the Union Club. More ahead, you can visit the convent of San Francisco and its catacombs that houses great part of the colonial art of Lima and the Plaza San Martin declared cultural heritage of the humanity in 1988.
05:15pm: At the end of our tour, we will return to Plaza San Martin to visit El Bolivariano bar. There, you will see a live preparation of the typical Pisco Sour, our most important cocktail made from peruvian brandy, Pisco.
06:00pm: Return to your hotel arrving at 06:30pm.
